The story was different and unique... The story begins with an intimate scene that gets interrupted (as parent I can seriously relate to this - especially when it involves the two and four legged ...) Cute is what I can add to that.

As for the rest of the book there was a few parts that seemed slower than others that were of the steadier.. Then add in the that the alien race names where slightly confusing as well as a few of the character names... (Especially, when the author starts swapping Theresa and Ressa - that may be typo). In addition the story itself seemed like I was missing something somewhere somehow... Like the story it was set in the midst of a large story. (Well no duh... It is a part of series that I wasn't aware of immediately...)

This is was a holiday alien story that seems to this reader would be great addition to the series IF you read the other books in this series.

The Ujal series is such a fun one to read and this Christmas special is a great addition! Christmas plans for Tave, Rina and Theresa are interrupted by the arrival of a space ship and these new aliens aren't anyone the Ujal are familiar with.

What this new race wants is the same as what the Ujal wanted--a chance to find willing earth women for mates. Will they be able to negotiate? Or will the humans who don't want aliens to mix with humans cause problems? A great read to find out.
This book even though it comes at the end of the Ujal series is an important part of the story. It's not long, but is full of love, hate, happiness and pain, but above all that it's full of hope. I hope that when the day comes that we meet a race from beyond our solar system they are as understanding as the Ujal and the Preor.

An excellent story, as always, that fits well into the context of the series. The Preor are a nice addition that I will look forward to reading about. The only complaint I have has to do with the length of this story. As others have already stated, this should have been three or four times longer to give us more details, perhaps from the Preors' points of view as well. But for the current length, it works nicely and I look forward to reading about the further adventures of the Ujal, their mates, and now the Preors.
I rated the first book a four and was not sure that I would continue with the series. I had already downloaded the second book so thought I would read it as Cecilia Kyle is one of my favorite authors. I am so thankful that I did read second through fifth books! Stories were dynamite with suspense and humor. Characters developed not only in their stories but continued through the rest of the books, I have read the Preorder books and just wish I had waited and read these first. Great works Ms Kyle!!
Its the holiday season and Tave will do anything to please his mate and his youngling. But the event doesn't go as planned. An alien ship has entered the planet's orbit. Are they friend or foe? It's just the preors. This story has the ujals and the preors meeting for the first time. They join forces to rescue Taves' daughter from terrorist.
This story shows the ujals and the preors have a great deal in common. The love and the protecting of their females and their young. It also leads to the next series about the dragons of preors.
You will love this Alien Christmas theme story. The Characters are truly amazing!. Prince Tave is the leader of the Ujal species. After Tave came to Earth he found his mate in one of the human women Rina. When a Ujal mate with a human woman she becomes part Ujal to. Tave will do any thing for his mate even celebrate the human custom of Christmas. Tave and Rina have a Daughter Teresa Rina wants to give her the whole Christmas experience. While they are lining everything up for Christmas another Alien race show up this one is an unknown one even to the Ujal. The space ship they are in seems to be a battle ship. Both the Humans and the Ujal are worried the Unknown ones are there to battle. It turns out they maybe more peaceful then the Humans!. You will love this suspenseful, funny, intense and steamy hot Romance!.
This story is the in between story that makes the Ujal books connect to the Preor books. It is Christmas time; things are afoot & not all of them are good. During this book the Preor's come to make a deal with Earth & Ujal to also find mates for their species.; Tave gets hurt, Theresa (Tave & Rina's child) was kidnapped & the Preor help to find Theresa very fast with their technology.

Because this was a very fast-paced, exciting story with a good vs bad vibe I rated it as very good. Now I'm off to read the rest of the Preor series.
