This was an incredibly emotional read. I have actually heard Jenna speak twice in Texas- both times were such a powerful experience. What Jenna has gone through is heartbreaking, but what Jenna has done for herself is so inspiring, and now Jenna is helping other victims. Once I heard the news that Jenna's book was coming out, I ordered one for myself, and another woman who has gone through years of sexual abuse living in a polygamist community. The woman I gave the book to, told me she felt so lost, and that no one was listening. After reading her book, she feels like pieces of her are healed.There is also some resources on where to get help for victims of sexual abuse, and how to teach children safety.
I cannot recommend this book enough.

This is an excellent book! Not only for the story itself, and the author's courage and honesty in writing it, but also for the her inclusion of resources for anyone who needs help, or who works with children or others at risk for abuse. A most encouraging and uplifting book!
What a great book! I started reading it, and couldn't put it down. I love the author's strength and honesty. This book is a great resource to give anyone dealing with the trauma of sexual abuse. I could not put this book down! Incredible insight on the internal struggles of abuse, Jenna's honesty though out the book was insightful and gave a clear picture what she was going through on the inside. I related to Jenna in so many ways in "Pure in Heart" her story gives life and defeats evil by the word of her testimony. She is a VICTOR not a victim walking in freedom!
This book was hands down one of the best ones I've ever read. I got it Monday and within a day and a half was finished with it. I could not put it down!!! The author was totally transparent about what happened to her, as well as how it affected her family. I appreciated her honesty about her struggle with her faith and relationship with the Lord after her experience. She talks about how she continues to heal and has chosen a career path to advocate for children! What an inspirational read! I can't wait to pass this book along for others to read. Thank you Jenna Quinn!
Recommended by an instructor in a LE continuing education course. I don't read. I haven't sat down and read a book since I was forced to in high school but I ordered it any way. This was a great read that kept my attention, which is not easy, and was eye opening.
The book is amazing, inspirational, well written and a true testimony to your faith, hope, God gifts and strength! Beauty from ashes! You are amazing! Keep up the God work using the gifts He gave you to reach out to others to help and educating others on awareness, signs to recognize victims of sexual abuse and to offer safe people and places for the abused to tell someone! The love and support among your family and the way you have chosen to reach out and help others through your tragedy you show God's truth, love and passion for keeping His promises! I will look forward to hearing you speak in the future! Thank you for sharing your story and God's word with me and so many others!

As an editor of Pure in Heart, I read it completely several times. Each time it enforced my desire to spread the word that this sort of thing does exist, and I’m grateful to Jenna for having the courage to speak out. Every parent should read this book so they can recognize the signs of sexual abuse. Children do not tell. Don’t turn your back on this situation thinking it can never happen to your child. It can and, in all probability, it will. My son was approached at age 13 by a trusted male church member, married with a child. My son put him in his place, but never told me about it until he was 21. Someone else told me he was approached at age 13 by his pastor’s son. He ran and told no one until he married. Another person told me that a neighbor exposed himself to her and several young friends. She ran but never told. Read this book then sit down with your children and encourage them to talk to you and let them know what they need to do if someone approaches them. In my opinion, Pure in Heart is one of the best user guides a parent can have to combat sexual abuse. Janet McDaniel
